The new improved Gopro Hero 2
Gopro has release an updated version of their camera called Gopro Hero 2.
Since I already have an old version of the gopro HD I’m not sure if it’s worth to upgrade. It’s a bit pricey too.
Anyhow, it has an 11mp sensor, twice as sharp glass lens, some more output connectors and wifi support. It still captures only 30 fps@1080, so for video footage there aren’t much improvements. There is no composite video output either, which might be troublesome when used with some video tx systems.
It has more improvements that matter more to some then others. ill list a few
-10 photo per sec burst compare to the 3 per sec
-11mp compared to the 5mp
-960p at 48fps compare to 30fps
- 2X better lens as well
With me being into photographing and video production this is worth it.
is it not possible to do away with fish eye externally..not too good with screws..or can you modify one and ship on payment,i am in India

I believe there is a company called Rage Cam or something that sells lenses but also also provide that kind of assembling services.

No composite video output??
It does have composite video!
But you need a special 2,5″ jack (3rings) composite cable.
You can buy this cable from the GoPro site so no problem.
It also has has mini HDMI out, so excellent camera for FPV I think.
