After doing some more research about RC helicopters I found the first multicopter video. This was totally new to me, but I really liked what a saw. A german dude was demonstrating his hexacopter.
Heavy payload multicopter
He was doing some maneuvers and he carried a heavy payload. The payload was about 1 kg (2lb ?) and the hexacopter still seemed steady. This is about the payload that I wanted to carry. A dslr such as Canon 5D mk2 or Canon 7d would be just a little more than 1 kg with lenses and camera mount.
I immediately understood that this is some really good stuff!
